The beautiful, multi-purpose room that you know as ELECTRIC LADYLAND, and ELECTRIC MUSIC STUDIOS ROCK PROGRAM is about to undergo a transformation. This state of the art recording studio will soon morph into The Ocean Beach Playhouse. A place for original plays, musicals, readings and cultural performances.
Located off Newport Avenue in the heart of Ocean Beach, "Ladyland" opened it's doors in May of 2011. The studio space/art gallery is bedecked in glittering Haitian flags and Persian rugs, the ambiance takes you to an exotic place.
The acoustics are fantastic! If you're serious about your original music, a great, live recording (with audience that you bring)is a professional way to present your band for promotion and to get gigs!
